UTA WAYU COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT is a charity-oriented, non-religious, and non-political organization established to provide community services.
As an organization that aims to empower the underprivileged sector in the community, we reach out to the people in need within the communities we serve and provide inclusive community service to improve their living conditions. We also provide assistance with their basic needs and education, especially during natural calamities. Hurricanes, typhoons, and earthquakes happen naturally, and they can damage one’s shelter or source of living. As such, our team is here to lend a hand to the affected individuals during the occurrence of these natural phenomena. We raise funds to help suffice their basic needs, including food, water, clothes, temporary shelter, and medicine.
We also have volunteer teachers and licensed professional teachers who offer their time, resources, and knowledge into tutoring children and providing an after-school program. We believe that with the right education, people can enhance their skills and knowledge beyond the academe. Furthermore, receiving a quality education is a crucial factor in improving one’s quality of life and living conditions. Equipped with the knowledge and skills, everyone can reach their full potential, achieve their dreams, and inspire others to get out of the rabbit hole and spread their wings.
